A covered outdoor room built off the back of a Newport Hills home, with a vaulted tongue-and-groove ceiling, plaster fireplace, and full outdoor kitchen under cover. Large-format stone steps down to a level lawn, with a spa deck and decomposed granite court beyond. The retaining walls and drainage are the part you don't see: the entire yard was cut and held to get those flat planes out of a slope.
